In need of a Restoration Hardware Cushion Fill Replacement
Hi! I just bought a used RH Maxwell 9' Luxe sofa on Craigslist that is in desperate need of new cushions; the sofa is two inches lower than it should be and I think it's due to the flat cushions. Wommmmp! That said, I did get a pretty great deal on it! :)
I'm feeling overwhelmed as I research this.
I don't want that gross worn down look that is on the display models; instead I'd like a full cushion that is great for snuggling. :)
All of that to say, what do I need and where is the best place to buy replacement cushions?
I measured the dimensions (seam to seam): 36" deep; 47" wide, 5" deep. Inside there appears to be a 3" foam wrapped in an envelope full of down filling.

Any help would be SO greatly appreciated!

Re: In need of a Restoration Hardware Cushion Fill Replacement
Well, I hate to tell you this, but that sofa is broken down. See the area below the cushions in your photos and how it is bowed out? That is called the Spring Edge, and it has collapsed. The leather is terribly stretched out on the cushions as well, so bad in fact, that's probably cowhide instead of steerhide. The sofa is used up and not worth putting any money into, certainly not $ 500 worth of properly made seat cushions. When the Spring Edge is done, the sofa goes to the landfill. Use it as long as you can stand it, then dispose of it and get something in better shape next time is my advice.
