yardley merlot
Hi Duane and the forum members,
I received a set of sample leathers today, mainly red and its variations. My wife and I like the Yardley Mulberry, can someone provide more information about this leather, origin ,wear and tear etc.We are planning to have this on either an Envelop sofa -4845 or Rugby club sofa-5261.
Sorry, got the leather description wrong on the thred header.it should read yardley mulberry
Thanks in advance.

Re: yardley merlot
I'd not actually do Yardley series on a Envelop sofa, that piece lends itself to a finer, softer hide than Yardley. In fact, I actually think the Envelope should only be sold in either Capri, Quintessence or Ricardo hides.
The Rugby is more rough 'n tumble looking and can take a drier, more variegated leather like Yardley. Yardley also varies a lot from the samples....those samples may look uniform and a bit polished, and the actual hide will often be a dry look with a rougher texture.
