New Hancock & Moore Leather photos - SPRING 2012
Here are the photos as promised, and I have these small samples at the store for anyone who is local and wants to see them. These are small 2" x 3" samples, so they don't photograph the best, but this is all I have to work with and show. I have not seen these made up on any pieces as I did not go to the Spring Market this year. These are available to order now, both as sample swatches and on furniture.

With the exception of the Deerskin and Lambskin, those are all cowhide.

Thank you very much for posting these.

Hi Duane-
So, 4 months after finding this site, and over a year long search, we still keep coming back to H&M to replace our beloved 22 year old, beautifully constructed Thomasville sofas for our family rm. Leather has been ruled out by both kids and dog (!), no matter how hard we try we can't find any love for the H&M fabrics, and we don't want to pay for COM if we don't have too. Did you happen to hear of any additional fabric selections along with these new leathers?
Re: New Hancock & Moore Leather photos - SPRING 2012
There are always new fabrics at H&M, every market. Most of them are uninspiring and boring. I don't know who picks them, but I could do better! A LOT better. You can also use Jessica Charles fabrics on H&M, but they're mostly all plain neutrals. If I were buying fabric H&M, I'd go for COM and get me a nice Schumacher or Pindler & Pindler, etc. and bite the bullet on price.

I'm really intrigued by the "Scout" samples. Both the burgundy *which doesn't look all that red to me, more of dark brown with reddish undertones* and the chocolate. They look rich but, rustic just going by those samples. Very interesting offerings! Have you sold anything in "Scout" much?
Re: New Hancock & Moore Leather photos - SPRING 2012
Not had the first order in 'Scout', but to be fair the leather swatches from the Spring Market just arrived recently and haven't been available in the stores.
Re: New Hancock & Moore Leather photos - SPRING 2012
No one around here had any Scout or Rio to look at. I thought I'd like to see the Scout Chocolate and the Rio Tobacco. I really like the tiburon chestnut but, would like to stay in grade 2 if possible. I've seen Atticus Java, Kipling Java and of course the Tiburon Chestnut...I like them all but, the Tiburon was my favorite so far with the effect it has. It looks like Scout might be similar to that but, it's SO hard to tell without a sample. Also impossible to feel the hand it has. Atticus is gorgeous and kipling is too but, one seems to have a slight pull up effect and the other does not. The sample I got of kipling was really thin and stretchy and I'm sure that's just due to it being a sample.
How similar to Tiburon do you feel Scout is?
