Re: Leather Executive Chairs
Ho boy...tough one.
This is what I sit in both at my office and in my home library (yes I like the form factor and have two of them). Not pretty, but hugely functional.

My wife has this at her home desk and she likes it, but its not my favorite:

Other ones I think are terrific:
http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...productid=1994 (Sits far better and more comfortable than it looks)
http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...?productid=914 (Expensive - Spectacular)
http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...productid=2326 (doesn't look like much but sits well, new in October 2012)
Hope that helps!
Re: Leather Executive Chairs
These are great, thanks. I don't like the armless one your wife has, but I like the style of the last 3 (husband wouldn't like the fussy arms of the expensive one, though I think it's gorgeous). The new one from Oct.2012 has nice slim lines. I'd love to see one of these in cowhide (we are Longhorn fans!).
Do these chair orders work the same as a sofa order (select leather, then wait for it to be made)? Or do they stock them in just a few leathers? I will PM you for prices.
Re: Leather Executive Chairs
You have to order, sorry. They never stock anything at all. The slim chair was surprisingly comfortable - I don't usually have high expectations for minimalist chairs but that one sits better than it appears it would.

I found this H&M chair (photographed at High Point Market by donnalivingblog) on Pinterest. It's a great vintage look -- wondering what it is named? It's actually quite impressive how many H&M pieces have been "pinned" now. Take a look out there! http://pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=hancock+and+moore
Re: Leather Executive Chairs
That chair is an Alan Price Design and I happen to REALLY like Alan's stuff. Alan and I always spend an hour or so taking cars and motorcycles at Market! It was inspired by the seat out of a 1964 Ferrari. I don't think its a current model, however.
Re: Leather Executive Chairs
Revisiting this thread - I still really like the slim chair the best (last link in the first reply) as our study is so small and a heavy/large chair would add too much weight to the room. Anyone want to suggest a neat leather for a pair of these chairs? Duane made suggestions via pm, which included Equestrian (I like the sample I have) and Berkshire. Colors? Think Texas, hill country, and longhorns, whereas the rest of my home is coastal chic, French country inspired. I just spent some $$ on a beautiful Amish trestle table, so I may have to ask for these chairs for Christmas! Honestly, I'm spoiled by my Sundance sofa and enjoy the idea of more Hancock & Moore pieces trickling into the house :)
Re: Leather Executive Chairs
I should add the leather should endure a family of five...nothing beyond Grade 3, price-wise. Equestrian Toffee looks like a good choice so far.

Here are some other options, with a little less metal showing, all with arm rests, and no designs that are too feminine:
The Beckett: http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...productid=2327 (looks very cozy to me, takes 2x as much leather as the sleek chair)
The Bailey: http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...productid=1181 (looks comfy, more wood/leather, no metal)
Kensington: http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...productid=1425 (very rich, lots of tufting)
Walton: http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...productid=1381 (beautiful, not too heavy looking as it has the open arms)
Ascari: http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...productid=1921 (I like the modern look, with the stitching for detail - wonder if it goes around the back)
Sebring: http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...productid=2216 (LOVE the vintage look, but it's not "high-back" for my husband)
Garrett: http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...productid=2398 (this one is interesting as it has wide leather stitching for detail)
Bradford: http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...?productid=990 (with the tufting, looks rich, but not overdone)
The Sleek Chair: http://www.hancockandmoore.com/produ...productid=2326 (this was my top pick as it is slim/sleek, just wish it had less metal)
Max budget is ~ $1K per chair (set of two). Going for Equestrian leather. I am trying to take screen shots and develop a collage. Which chair jumps out at you? Anyone have one of these?

Re: Leather Executive Chairs
Better revise that budget! $ 1K per Chair is not going to get you any of H&M's office chairs, sorry - especially in a GR 3.
