60's Dentist chair??

Hey guys, I have a what I'm guessing to be 1960's Ritter dental chair. It's a a small metal plate that is in really good shape on the base, but no date. I got this thing for free, as an old co-worker just left it, and didn't want. I love these kind of projects, and am currently cleaning this thing up and making it nice again. This isn't a restoration, just a clean up, paint, and reupholster so it can be used again.

Judging by the pics, does anyone have any idea what this is?! I can't find anything on it! A worth would be curious to know as well. Thanks for any help guys!
