Suggestions sought
Good evening, everyone. My wife and I need to replace our couch that is twenty years old. We'd like to get either a cloth or leather reclining loveseat or sofa. However, because it's in a small area, we need one that is no longer than eight feet. I know that there are several different companies that make them, but I'd rather pay once for a quality product.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Re: Suggestions sought
If you do a search for 'reclining' here, you'll find some recent threads talking about them. I am not sure about the length restriction, you should be able to find the measurements on the manufacturers' websites after you narrow it down to a couple from reading the threads.

Re: Suggestions sought
I would very strongly suggest leather in a motion piece such as a dual recliner sofa, the fabric just won't last many years, friction wear will mean re-upholstery in about 7 to 8 years (average). Leather will go 4x that given proper care.
I would suggest Hancock and Moore Your Way Motion to start with:

They do run these in promotional leathers (see the list here on the forum in the LEATHER section). The YM90 unit is 3" less than your 8' max. These come standard with articulating headrests which I find most clients really like. This is the top build of all the ones on the market today.
Bradington Young will be less money, same mechanisms as H&M, but it will not be quite as finely tailored. Look at their Luxury Motion pieces for the ones with articulating headrests. B-Y Has a 5 % off factory sale right now (ends June 15th) which makes them quite attractive.

Re: Suggestions sought
Thank you for your help. Hopefully tomorrow I'll head over to my local H&M and BY dealer to see if they have any on the floor.
