Re: Which Chair to go with my new 5483 Lynne Sofa?
Good to know, Duane!
Sue, the Cross Moore 5591-s is a swivel chair in the Town and Country program in Gaucho Mocha Burnished...I've got my eye on that one. Doesn't recline, though and the back isn't tufted like the Cross Moore recliner (I wish it was, the tufting is really pretty on that one) The Ashmore Boot Stool would look nice with that, and wouldn't take up too much room.
Re: Which Chair to go with my new 5483 Lynne Sofa?
Good to know about the swivel/gliders and the number 3. Thanks, Duane!
I wonder what the Poet would look like with tufting. I really love the look of tufting. If I had a big house with a billiards room, I would be all over a Chesterfield! What I do have is a 900 sq. ft. 1926 bungalow, so no billiards and no Chesterfield.
Re: Which Chair to go with my new 5483 Lynne Sofa?
You won't like the price on a Poet with Tufting, that's like making a new chair. What you can do however, is have some fun with the borders on the Poet and run some specialty leathers on the detail areas, like the new Ribbed leather which go into the arm border and them gimp with it as well. That would be pretty unique and a lot of fun.

OK, so I'm liking the Poet. And I want to get my order in this month (Feb. 2013) to take advantage of the 5% sale. I like Duane's idea of using the Ribbed Belt Dark Chocolate on the inner arm panel and adding a gimp, even though I don't fully understand what he means ;) So here are some really badly Photoshopped mock ups I made to help me visualize what we're talking about, and to help you help me to decide. No gimp on these because I don't know where it would go. I still haven't seen any of these leathers in person, so I'm not set on them.
What do you think?

Those might be too much! Just the vertical inner arm panel is all, and possibly the gimp (which is a fancy name for a strip of leather that borders around the base of the piece).
Don't take it up to the roll part of the arm and on the wings.

Like this? And I actually know what gimp is, I just didn't know where you meant to put it.

Re: Which Chair to go with my new 5483 Lynne Sofa?
Yes! But no green panel on the side....
Re: Which Chair to go with my new 5483 Lynne Sofa?
That green panel is supposed to be a pocket. Are you ready to hire me for my graphic design skills yet? ;)
Re: Which Chair to go with my new 5483 Lynne Sofa?
Ahhh! OK, the pocket is cool, just don't make it too large without a vertical seam to divide it otherwise it gets baggy n' saggy as it ages. Take a look at the Abby Chair I posted photos of for about as large as you want to make them.
