Reclining sofa or loveseat
We are looking for a good quality reclining sofa or love seat. The cover material we want would be something that small dog odors/accidents could be cleaned fairly easily. We now have a microfiber sofa that hasn't been great when trying to clean those small dog problems. We will buy a leather covering, but would like to know if there is something else we could look for. Also the microfiber we have builds up a lot of static electricity that we do not like.
Are the Hancock and Moore reclining sofas a good mechanism?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Re: Reclining sofa or loveseat
You can't beat leather. It will be more expensive than a microfiber, but while microfibers are sold as 'miracle fabrics' they are really just super-fine polyesters where the fibers are super-thin to prevent dirt from adhering to them. Leather is less porous, cleans easier, and keeps out the dust mites if you or your pets have allergies.
H&M uses only Leggett and Platt mechanisms in their motion furniture which are the gold standard in mechanisms.
