B-Y Recliner color to go with H-M City Sofa

I am planning to purchase a B-Y Haskins recliner 5007 to go in the same room as my Hancock & Moore city sofa in cavalier mocha. The two color options that are available for quick ship are 9827-87 (medium brown) or the 9827-89 (dark brown). Which color do you think would complement the sofa better? Right now, I'm leaning towards the dark brown.

Your choice! Here' the leathers you are looking at. The Sofa is the City in Cavalier Mocha. The upper swatch is the -87 from BY, the lower one the -89. Both work.

Note the grain is more coarse on the B-Y leathers than the H&M.....

Thank you so much Mr. Collie, that picture is a huge help. It's such a tough call, but I think I'll stick with the darker brown.
