Finely Brown leather
There are two H&M recliners that look to be in good condition locally for 300.00 each. I am not familiar with the leather, but it is said to finely brown leather. Do you remember this leather at all? The nails would not match my city sofa with Cavalier Mocha but if it wouldn't look too odd with it, it might be a good stand in until i can purchase something new. They said the chairs were originally 1500.00 each so I assume it was a while ago and probably a grade I or program leather. THANKS!
OK, don't know why these were listed for sale locally in CT, but anyone in NJ interested, lol? Seems to be a good buy.

Re: Finely Brown leather
"Finely" leather would be before my time as a H&M dealer, so that's going to go back quite a few years.

Re: Finely Brown leather
Sorry, Finley, not Finely. Probably still won't mean anything to you. Hard to believe they would be in such good condition if they were that old, but maybe in a rarely used room. Anyway, still a good buy for someone for well made leather recliners in good condition, I think.

Re: Finely Brown leather
You can tell by the tag under the seat they are older. Hancock and Moore moved away from that golden embossed type tag at least 10 years ago, it is a good clue when looking at the secondhand market. They do look in decent shape and $300 is a fair price.
