Buying Living Room Furniture Online

Hi all,

I am located in NY.I saw living room set online at www.furnituremaverick.com Visiting local brick and motar store..i found that online price for living room set is cheaper.they provide free home delivery and setup and no tax in NY,where as in local store i have to pay setup charge and tax too . I called furnituremaverick to check and customer service luked good. can anybody suggest what should i do? I am confused .The living room set i liked is http://www.furnituremaverick.com/dur...oom-set-1.html . i am getting this livingroom set @$700.20 online .Is this good price to spend??

Pretty much you have to buy from whom you are the most comfortable purchasing from. You don't say how much price difference there is between the on-line merchant and your local store (assuming they are identical items). I'm not familiar with that brand, but I can predict that a sofa/loveseat new for $ 700 (delivered) is poorly made and won't last long or be very comfortable. Don't expect to get very much lifespan from the set. Its impossible to build quality furniture at that price. Good luck!

I found manufacturer is Ashley Furniture. I have searched Ashley Furniture online..it is one of the popular brand in Upholstery. The Living room set comes with one year Warranty.
Item on furnituremaverick and physical store is identical .Online merchant will deliver me in a week.

Ashley is poor quality. As long as you don't expect too much out of the pieces......they will suffice for a few years.

Where is your store? Do you have online showroom where i can have a look to your products? hw much you charge for delivery and setup to NY ??
