Newbie with 30 years in the furniture industry
Hi there,
Hoping I'll be able to contribute to this forum. I have spent 30 years in the furniture industry on both the retail and the manufacturing ends of the business. Six of those years were spent as a buyer at a large Washington DC retailer. Currently I own a company that manufactures and retails (over the internet) a line of custom RTA (Ready To Assemble) Upholstered Furniture. My experience is mostly with mid-level companies but I'm also familiar with high end construction techniques. Anyway, I just hope to be able to contribute to this forum and also to learn.
