Lane Sectional

Hi all, I'm new to the forum. Looks like a good place to learn.

I'm planning on buying my first "real" piece of furniture soon, and I've been hearing that Lane isn't what it used to be 10+ years ago. My parents can't say enough good things about them, but they haven't owned one in 15 years.

Anyway, I'm looking at a sectional to go in my TV room, and I was liking the look/feel of this piece.

The store I was looking at quote me approx. $3000, which included tax/delivery as well. My question is whether or not it would be a good deal or if I would regret my purchase in a few years.

That one is all made-in-China. I'd not anticipate getting 'years' of service from it, quite honestly. There' a lot of furniture there for $ 3K, however. Anything similar made in the USA of high quality materials will easily be twice that in price.

The $3k is for only the entire sectional, not the chairs listed on the Lane site. Still a reasonable deal?
