Tannery Chair and ottoman
I'm considering a couple Tannery chairs to go in a room with an Evening sofa. Can anyone describe how the Tannery chair sits? When you sit down, do you feel like you automatically need to use an ottoman? Could you sit comfortably in it for a few hours? Also, if anyone has the Tannery and also purchased an ottoman, which one did you select? Thanks for any help!

Re: Tannery Chair and ottoman
I have a pair in my Library at home, love 'em! Great chairs and I can - and do - sit for hours in them. Now, they are not recliner or tilt-back comfortable, but they're pretty good.

I have one Christie Boot Stool from H&M that I use for both chairs. Sometimes I like it, other times not. Just depends.

WOW, I love the look of the chairs in your room. I found your original thread on these and this brought up another question. The sample set of the Hand Antiqued Sunset appears primarily brown, but most of the pictures of it on the forum appear with a lot of a reddish/maroon color. The sample I have says "Hand Antiqued Sunset". Is this the same as Hand Antiqued Sunset Burnished? Does the burnishing impart the reddish tone? I really like the reddish tones, and couldn't use another brown in the room.
