Hancock and Moore # 7472-88 Rory Sofa in Markle Doe

Beautiful, deep-seated sofa in the finest hide (Markle, Doe color) in the line. I did a quick test sit before we loaded this for delivery and was surprised at how well it sat, Roomy, deep, very comfortable. Markle is a leather that is so fine, and so soft that it lacks stiffness and will show use and handling markings. After delivery, the client had concerns because the channelling did not look like the H&M Photo, there were more "wrinkles" in the channels. That's because the factory website photo shows this sofa in much stiffer leather in low grade that lacks this suppleness. When you get into these super-fine leathers, they become much harder to sew perfectly due to the lack of "body". Something to keep in mind when you order a handmade sofa in a top shelf hide.
