Bradington Young 508-25 & 508-OT in 9110-48
This is the Bradington-Young Yorba sofa (508-95), together with the matching Yorba stationary chair (508-25) and Yorba Ottoman (508-OT), all in in semi-aniline 9110-48 Aspen Elevation, which is a navy blue color. We also purchased a B-Y Roswell power recliner, but it had to be returned due to some damage. Will post a photo of that separately when we get it back.

This is the B-Y Roswell power reclining lounger (3322) in aniline plus leather 9110-48. We ordered it with the rechargeable battery pack.

I'm considering the Roswell, tell me please if you like it.
Re: Bradington Young 508-25 & 508-OT in 9110-48
My husband really, really likes this recliner and finds it very comfortable. I on the other hand do not like the way it sits at all - it feels way too deep to me. I think he is probably happy about that because I used to sit in his old recliner from time to time, but he doesn't ever have to worry about sharing this one with me. For comparison purposes, he is 5'8" and I am 5'2".
Re: Bradington Young 508-25 & 508-OT in 9110-48
At 5' 2" you would like the new Hancock and Moore Script Recliner - it was specifically made for ladies your size. Do a search here for photos.
Re: Bradington Young 508-25 & 508-OT in 9110-48
The H&M Script Recliner does look very, very nice!
Re: Bradington Young 508-25 & 508-OT in 9110-48
I have two more Script recliners inbound to the store that will ship from H&M on or about June 1st. Already have two ladies to call when I get one on the floor. The industry has ignored the needs of women in motion furniture for so many years - I have a real push on to show them there is a market for this sort of thing. They are doubtful they will sell - but the only way to show them is to put sales numbers on products like these so they can see they DO sell. Otherwise it will be "Duane, you pushed us to build that petite recliner and it didn't do any volume, so we dropped it". And then it will be another fifteen years before its re-visited.

Thankyou Raina, I think you are saying that your husband likes the Roswell. I'm 5'7" so it likely would work for me. Could I ask a big favor? Could you tell me the height of the back cushion measuring from the top of the seat cushion up to the top of the back cushion? That will give me a reference as I try sitting in other models. Did you go with the foam or upgrade to spring or premier down?

I'm 5'2" and my husband is 5'6". We recently bought the B-Y Yorba sofa (508-95) and reclining Yorba high-leg lounger (4508BY). Both are a perfect size for us and very comfortable, not too deep and my feet actually touch the floor. Because it has legs, the lounger also looks less "reclinerish" than many, and its small scale fits well in our small den. The same is true for the sofa, which is only 76" wide. That's a tough size to find in a 3-seater sofa that looks reasonably contemporary. We were able to get both pieces immediately because our local dealer had married covers in stock.

Lovesummer, we sat in both the Yorba lounger and the Roswell before we made a final decision and I personally would have preferred the Yorba lounger (we also bought the Yorba sofa). However, my husband really wanted a bustle back recliner and I did not want anything big or overstuffed, so the Roswell was my concession to him. It does blend pretty nicely with our Yorba pieces.

I just laid a measuring tape on it and I would say 29 1/2 inches from the top of the seat cushion to the front of the top of the chair. We didn't upgrade the cushion so I think it must be the wrapped foam.
Have you had a chance to sit in the Roswell? Two of the three furniture stores we visited had one on the floor, which was good, because my husband refused to purchase anything without sit-testing it in person. That is actually how we ended up with Bradington-Young furniture instead of Hancock & Moore. Only one furniture store within 100 miles of us was an H&M dealer and they didn't have anything in the showroom except a Journey lounger that didn't appeal to me. I did see some H&M pieces online that looked very nice to me, but as much as I tried to convince him otherwise, my husband was not comfortable buying pricey furniture that he didn't get to sit-test first.

The B-Y Roswell is standard with HR Foam, a Spring or Premier down seat cushion upgrade is just $ 40.

Thankyou very much. I really appreciate your response on the height of the back. I haven't been able to sit in the Roswell. I'm in NJ and have just two nearby store, neither has the Roswell. I did sit in the Castiel and Haskins and Yorba loveseat (premier down). Thanks so much for the measurement.
