Flexsteel fabric sofa vs king hickory
I have read through reviews and most people seem to prefer king hickory upholstery sofas to flexsteel. However, it appears that Flexsteel has a better warranty- lifetime on cushions vs. king hickory's 5 years. How would you compare the 2 brands? Does anyone have experience with the king hickory creative rooms program and the quality of the fabrics included? Both of these brands seem simaliarly priced at about $1350-$1400.
By the way, in my area Taylor King sofas seem to be priced in the $2000 range which is above my budget.
Re: Flexsteel fabric sofa vs king hickory
Flexsteel is "Joe 6-Pack" furniture. Its OK for what it is, and tough/durable. Its not finely tailored and they use unconventional construction in their units. You can definitely tell its mass-produced by line operators rather than craftsmen. King Hickory is more of a traditional build, with 8-way hand-tied coil springs and the like. I'd put it a notch down from Taylor King but a notch above Flexsteel.
Good luck!
