Need Help Appraising Vintage Coffee Table/Living Room Table

My girlfriend was clearing out her storage and came across this

Is vintage coffee table and/or living room table the appropriate title? What is this item called?

Would you say that it's made out of Rosewood? What's a fair selling price to ask for?

Here's a thought...pull the table out, take it outside on a sunny day and do a series of 10 to 12 decent photos of all angles and including a few of the table flipped to detail construction. Quickie cell phone photos like posted here are not possible to work with.
