Lee vs Temple, Nylon vs Rayon/Olefin
We are looking to buy a loveseat, wing chair and ottoman.
Does anyone have a preference or recommendation for Lee Industries or Temple Furniture, both from North Carolina and available from stores local to our area?
How about an opinion on a long wearing, easy to spot clean fabric? Color will be beige. We are an older couple with a Golden Retriever. We have narrowed it down to two:
A 100% Nylon, velvet-like microfiber called “Montego”.
A 59% Rayon, 41% Olefin tightly woven blend rated at 39,000 double rubs.
Both have cleaning code: SW. Any help would be appreciated.
Re: Lee vs Temple, Nylon vs Rayon/Olefin
Those are both respected labels (Temple and Lee)
If you really want a durable fabric, get a Crypton-brand material. That stuff is like armored cloth and the hand of it is not too bad. Both those makers should carry it though they likely renamed it. High Oelfin content material tends to be scratchy. Most fabrics that are 100 % man-made materials will 'pill' over time as well.
Good luck
