Re: Looking for an Upright Leather Recliner
I don't recommend the Manning chair. It has great lumbar support, but it provides no neck support in any position. Also, I'm just under 5'7" and my heels hang over the foot rest in the upright extended. After a few months, I'm about to take mine to a resell shop because of the tension and pain in my neck when I sit in it. I wanted smaller and sleeker and wasn't concerned about not being able to try it in person because I was able to try a few other similar styles. But something is off with the pitch of this style.
Re: Looking for an Upright Leather Recliner
I'm surprised to hear this as the H&M Manning fits me great and I'm 5' 11". Sometimes though, a chair just does not suit you. Point to note: On any recliner from any maker, your heels should not be on the footrest. If they are your knees will lick up and your legs fall asleep. You always want your feet to extend father than the footrest. Try changing out your cushion cores to modify the way the unit feels before selling it, go softer or firmer to change the feel and angles, sometimes that does the trick.
