Trying to find formal sofa and 2 chairs. Could you pls tell me which brand to target? My price range is 2K t0 2200 for a sofa. This would be in my living room that we do not use every day. I was looking at Sherrill but they are pricey $3400/sofa. I would like better quality/ craftsmanship that would look new even after 5 yrs.
Top quality, low price? That's an impossible formula that we would all like to have, but its not realistic unless you go into the pre-owned market.
I would seriously try Craigslist or high-end outlet stores in your area. If you're patient and determined, you can find a great deal.
$3,400? Is that suggested retail? Get several quotes & don't be afraid to shop out of state.
I'm buying my first Sherrill piece (sofa 3097-3) with upgraded cushions & a mid grade fabric (grade 13). Price was just over $2,000 here in California. I'm waiting on several quotes from stores in NC and KY.
As my room is quite big (20X20), was looking at bigger frame (more than 90" wide). Store quoted this price after 40% off of retail. Let me know if you get a better quote from NC or KY stores.
