Does leather feel cold?
We are about finished with the finishing touches to a new addition. I'm looking for a sofa, loveseat & 2 swivel chairs.
I've read both on this forum (and the older, other one) about the quality of H&M. I'm worried about the cold factor though.
Thoughts?

"Cold" and "Sticky" leather is usually what folks refer to when they sit on cheaper leather furniture. Primarily finished leathers with a considerable amount of topcoating. If you move into the better hides such as semi-anilines, and pure anilines, then you won't experience that . In fact, at my house in the winter time I really like to sit in my leather furniture as it holds in the body heat much better than fabric. However, I buy premium leathers for my home use....not finished hides. The trade-off is price - as you get into good leather the price is going to be increasing. Then again, it lasts 4x as long as fabric, so cost of ownership per year of usable service is actually superior to most fabric covered pieces.
