Need substitute for burnished leather
I have been looking at leather samples for some time and I really liked the Hyde Park Brownie Burnished. Yesterday, I saw a chair in this leather and it was incredible. Problem is, it squeaked. The chair was non-reclining and solid back. I am looking to get a bustle back and recliner. The squeak level will probably be too much with all that movement. Does anyone have an idea about a leather close to the Hyde Park that would not squeak? I am thinking about the Atticus Chestnut. Any suggestions?

<laughing> Don't like noisy leathers? Well. the painted ones don't make noise....Atticus is quiet (it's painted). And the real high end anilines like Capri and Quintessence are quiet as well.
All burnished, all pull-up leathers, and all saddle leathers will make noise. You can put a little baby or talc powder into where the cushion contacts the inner arm and that will quiet it some. In most cases, you won't even notice it after a few weeks of ownership.
