Hancock & Moore # 9177ST-PL Marquis High Back Open Arm Executive Chair - Angelo Ebony
When folks ask me what I buy for myself as a desk chair, I tell them the Marquis High Back by Hancock and Moore. This is the chair that fits me, and I use it both at home and at the store, typically I buy a new one every ten years at the store and the home one goes twice that. Sure, its not all that much to look at, but the comfort and support for me is ideal, and I've tried them all from every maker. This is my newest, arrived today and immediately wheeled into the store office...Ahhhhhhhhh.....perfect. When you get an email from me, or a forum post response, this is what I am sitting in when I type it out. In Angelo Ebony, which is the series I like most in a finished leather.

I know you don't post quotes Duane, but generally what is the price range for the chair with that type of leather? $2-3k? I am using a Steelcase chair for my office right now, but it is going on 6 years old and I will need a new one within the next year or so.

In Hancock and Moore World, the least expensive office chairs are in the Just in Time Program and Town and Country. Well under $ 2K. For a chair like I just bought for myself, it's in the ballpark of $ 2K before shipping. Fancy office chairs like the Patriot one will push up into the $ 3K range.
