Dining table identification
I have a dining set (table and 10 chairs) I acquired in 2011. At the time, the seller mentioned that it was about 35 years old. Attached please find some pictures.
The table top seems to be mahogany with a varnish coat on it. The table is 11' tall (including 2 2' leaves). It has 10 chairs (two with arms).
I am thinking of reupholstering the chairs. Before I spend the money on that, I want to know whether the set is worth spending money on.
Could you help me identify the maker of the table/chairs? The seller said that the design is Chinese Chippendale. Any information on the table would be much appreciated.
Please let me know if you need any more pictures.

Re: Dining table identification
The table looks decent, its hand-carved on the detail work as best I can tell. I can't tell you if the chairs are well made or not, but you can buy slipcovers for a chair like that at a very reasonable price. I'd probably go the slipcover vs full-on reupholstery.

Re: Dining table identification
Thanks for the reply Duane.
I did consider slipcovers, but the arms chairs were the bottleneck. I can't get a slipcover over the arm chairs.
Attached is a picture of the inside corner of the table.
