New Floor Stock ordered from Hancock and Moore
Coming to the showroom as floor models, likely in late November:
# 044 Plantation Ottoman covered in a wool rug. Traditional Oriental. Who knows what it will look like? Not I ! The founder of Hancock and Moore is going to pick one out for me.
# 7152 Manning Recliner in a new leather called Momentum Cream (this is the favorite recliner of H&M's CEO)
# 6105-1 Haylie Chair in a new leather called Anthem Lagoon, with Cullen Indigo leather on the outback and sides (I designed this one)
Will take photos when they arrive.

Have you ever seen the wheel feet like that break? I have an H&M side chair with wheels like that and I always think they look so small and fragile, but they've held up so far. Every time I see them on a piece I wonder about them.
Re: New Floor Stock ordered from Hancock and Moore
Yes I have. The casters are bascially cheap Chinese pot metal, made to look like brass. That's the industry standard not only at H&M, but every other upholstery maker as well. Those casters cost about $ 3 each and I have seen then break - not frequently, but they do.
If you want GOOD casters, then buy solid brass ones from Horton Brasses out of CT. They are ten to fifteen times the price, but they don't fail (plus they look fantastic). You can order these casters from Horton, have them sent to H&M and they will use them on your order if you like. I have done that with several customers in the past. As you would suspect, the reasons casters like the Horton's ones are not used as OEM product is due to the cost.
