I am purchasing a black walnut live edge dining table with a black iron base but am having trouble picturing the type (style, color, etc.) of chairs that should go with it. Does anyone have experience with or an opinion on pairing chairs with live edge tables?

Many ways to go. Are you looking for a wood chair or an upholstered chair? What's the whole table supposed to look like (base included). What's the finish to be on the table top. Not enough info to make a recommendation at this point.

The top has a satin finish.
I'd prefer a wood chair, possibly painted. I plan on selecting chairs from Zimmerman Chair. The goal is to have chairs that compliment the table while not drawing attention away from the walnut slab.
