Does anyone have either of these leathers by H&M? How do you like them? Any idea of the price difference between the document and caress leathers?
They are both type 2 I believe but Document Navy is pre cut so cheaper. Would the Caress leather be the same price point as Document that is NOT in the just in time program, such as Document Ocean?
Both Document and Caress leathers come out of Chinese Tanneries, both are Price Grade 2 when not use as a promotional item. The main difference between the two is Caress is monochromatic, there is no high/low shading in the color. Document has those high-low tones which are relatively mild in the Navy color.
Yes, Document Navy is a married cover on the recliner you are looking at. Document Ocean is also in Town and Country as a GRP 2 leather. Caress is not in the program at all on any frame, so it goes at a regular GR 2 price point.
Unless you are going for a certain look, the Married Covered price is the way to go, the savings are significant and that's a good-looking leather when made up on a recliner.
