How to destroy a H&M Barstool
A customer had a local move and his mover put some light damage on a Steele Farm Barstool that was a year old. The mover sent it back in a box to Hancock and Moore for a factory restoration and it was destroyed in shipping. Why? It was literally put in a box with no bracing or isolation of the barstool. This is not Amazon, you can't just put something in a carton that weighs 70 lbs and expect it to travel well unless its properly packed. This is now a total loss of a $ 1,700 barstool because someone didn't take the time to properly wrap this piece. Not only is the back broken, the leather is holed on the seat and the base cracked in three places. Unfortunate.

Too bad that a nice piece got destroyed. I hope the total loss is the moving companies and not the owners. I hope they make good on it.

Sad to see this. Ours are in almost the same color combination. We picked the stools up from H&M and they were in the factory crates, very well packed I think I have some pictures still. They are deceptively light in the box, not sure why. But try moving them around after, like we do before we vacuum and you realize they are built like a tank!
