BY COL custom build

My furniture shopping has led me to two choices, one of which is purchasing a BY sofa with a matching chair and ottoman. I am, however, considering exploring the BY Customers Own Leather option.

My leather of choice is the 8702 semi-analine protected from Smith Brothers. SB claims to sell fabrics through their dealers, so maybe that will include leathers as well. I would think this leather is a high enough quality to have the necessary workability for BY.

Has anyone ordered COL furniture from BY, or does anyone have any experience or insight about this option? Will the BY dealer be able to guide me to order the correct quantity of leather? Does Duane get involved with COL orders?
