Sectionals Similar but with better quality
My wife and I are looking for fabric sectionals. The two listed are our current preferences. We love the look/feel and the legs.
Please help us spend our money on something that will actually last forever. We now know from reading here that Bassett and Ethan Allen are not top-of-the-line.

That's an unrealistic request, sorry.
Average lifespan of most fabric pieces from any maker is 10 years before they need recovering/upholstery. That can be very expensive to do. typically a unit such as in the photo will take 25 yards of material @ $ 50 a yard so $ 1,250 in material (+/-) and then a labor charge of $ 600 to $ 800 from most upholstery services. Leather will last 4x longer on average so if you really want longevity, that's the route to go.
If you do plan to recover, look for a frame that is made of solid hardwood, not plywood, and has 8-way hand-tied suspension. That frame can easily go through three to four upholstery jobs with minimal suspension or frame sag.
Good luck.

Thank you for your insight. Is it safe to say that http://www.taylorking.com/product.asp?PID=5895&CID=2 meets those requirements?
Re: Sectionals Similar but with better quality
Taylor King is well-made, however they use a plywood frame like 95% of all manufacturers out there. For the solid maple with 8-way hand-tied, I know Hancock and Moore and Century Signature line are built like that.
