Where can I find a Replacement Barcalounger Recliner Mechanism?

I have been all over the internet trying to find a replacement recliner mechanism for a Barcalounger Reclining Love Seat (Model #6-3809) that has 2 reclining seats. One of them has recently broken and with Barcalounger being out of business, I am having a hard time finding a replacement recliner mechanism. Do you have any suggestions on who would sell replacement recliner mechanisms for Barcalounger Recliners? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You might not be able to locate one. If you look at the mechanism closely and its a Leggitt and Platt, or Ultramech, its likely you can get a replacement. But quite honestly Barcalounger is cheap Chinese throw-away furniture and most likely the mechanism is also made in China which means you won't get parts. Barcalounger is back in business after going through Chapter 11, but they revised their model lineup and may not carry your model or parts. Call them!
