Leather Shortage

I've been told by those in the trade that leather is become a bit more difficult to source and prices will ride on hides. Apparently the worldwide herd was thinned out post-Recession and with the drop in Beef prices farmers raised less cattle. Now with the ramp-up of the economy, demand is exceeding supply. We may see some larger price increases in the near term....

More..expect leather furniture price increase in June/July I'm thinking....(just speculating)
