Vintage store find... any idea the era? American or not?

We bought a sofa and two chairs today at a vintage store. They said 1800's.. we have no idea. They have been recovered obviously but even that was a while back. They are hand carved and no broken pieces. They seem very sturdy. Also they threw in a coffee table which doesn't have the same design as the rest of the sitting pieces but it still has some hand carved pieces and inlays as well.
