Hard to say... with four kids bouncing around, it’s possible I might be core replacements down the road. I was thinking too, what if the back cushions need more fill due to usage as well. Do a lot of...
Hi!!! Long time!! Nooo, our York sectional will be ours for many more years! I now have four children, the oldest is 9 and the youngest is 2... the York sectional is so deep and long that it is...
Thanks so much!! A lot to digest.
On all of these, are the cushion cores irreplaceable then? They are sewn to the frame? Also the back cushions of the Hooker unit— are those zippered are any point...
Just not wild about the look of finished leather... though it’s a quick sleeper conversion, and there is something to be said for having a dedicated sleep mattress that can be replaced if needed v...
That’s really neat how easy the Hooker Peralta is to set up too...
That’s a neat one... cheaper and italian leather. I think I prefer the metal hardware-less (when open) and the taller back of TK model. Would be great to have the longevity and ease of maintenance...
Our front door is 42” W, and it would be going straight into the open room from the entry. Curious about the hooker unit, though...
I saw your photos and appreciated that. The Escape chair looks a little odd and out of proportion next to such a low, thin sofa... Made me pause a second. I just have really not had a good idea of...
Months of thought have passed. Finally zeroing in on wants v needs. We have this weird front room that is open to dr and k (imagine a “Y” flow with the front room being at the bottom and the two...
Do you still have this sleeper on your floor?
I am looking to create a conversation area in a front room with either two sofas or a sofa and two chairs. Not sure what I want from the chairs if I went that route other than comfortable, tall...
Hi Duane! I have a few questions. As you know, we got our york sectional in tiburon java back in March/April. I wipe it down with a warm damp cloth at least once a week (heavy usage, 3 very young...
Looks awesome!!!! Long wait over! Glad there was no damage... Wish mine would have been in crates! I'm sorry, I haven't been on in months.
I haven't had a chance to update y'all. We accepted the repaired part of our sectional. I am not crazy about the darker spot they created while repairing it since it is pretty large, considering the...
I honestly would have felt better had they just replaced the leather panel since we do a lot of moving, BUT I know this was faster... And certainly less costly and less of a headache for everyone....
Oh, and the movers will be arriving the third week of June. We will see our things again, (God willing that it all makes it there and does not end up on the bottm of the Pacific ocean), mid August....
Nothing but the sound of leaves rustling in the wind is actually what I miss most about a country day... and crickets and grasshoppers on a summer day... Blackberries and wildflowers... I love to sit...
Viviv, I like your choices of Salvatore and author chairs! Are you getting the back quilted like that one pictures? I love the lines of that model of sofa. Well you know I like Hyde Park Earth... I...
I love that! Using salvaged materials is much like the enduring Texas spirit! I bet it will all be fabulous. I hope you will post photos of it all. Have you watched Fixer Upper? I love that show....
Aww, and always, you are so incredibly supportive and encouraging!!!! I love how you pointed how versatile my sofa will be-- that is a GREAT point!! I hope because of that I can not only make it...
And thank you, jake8 :). Half a sectional... Yep lol! Funny how we do deliberate for hours and hours over nail and wood finishes. In the end it really does not even matter THAT much because you...
I really love the CC nails on the tiburon java. They are just right. They pop just enough but aren't too flashy!
I know what you mean. I was really nervous about the comfort too... I have a few...
You're going to love your tiburon java :). I'm sorry yours will take so long... I have a feeling my big sectional took most of the in-stock hide. I ordered mine early in case of delays since our...
And I have to say, the upholstery/tailoring is absolutely FLAWLESS. I have an appraising eye, and I can find no fault in this sofa. It's incredible how they can hammer in nails so straight too!...
Thanks! It sure does look "off" next to my big ol' oversized sofa chairs we had to drag back in here to have enough seating, though lol. Thank goodness they had not been sold, yet! It makes our...
