Re: What are your Coronavirus home projects?

I have a landscaper coming on Tuesday to see about a patio. No down time for me, but as a nurse, my job is not in jepardy, so I decided to try to give a job to a local business instead of waiting...
  2. Sticky: Re: Leather Cleaning & Conditioning Protocol for all brands

Personally, I did not do the cleaning step when it was new. I started the protection when it was a few months old. I later recieved a mini kit from H&M who recommended starting it when the sofa was a...

Beautiful job and a big improvement!
  4. Re: Hancock & Moore # 7170 Script Recliner (Petite) in leather Lyric Shadow

Not at the moment, but I will be in the future. I really like the chair, and it sounds like it would be much better for me, but I don't want you to waste your time until I am ready to pull the...
  5. Re: Hancock & Moore # 7170 Script Recliner (Petite) in leather Lyric Shadow

Are they able to customize the measurements at all like they can with a sofa? Seems like it would be too complicated with a recliner. But it would be nice for someone who wants a little more, ummmm,...
  6. Re: Can't get our of my recliner, help! Footrest too hard to close

I had the same problem when I tried them in the furniture store. I am "height challanged" so I am not sure if my short legs mean my they don't extend far enough down on the foot rest to get them to...

Re: Sheepskin, Hair on Hide, and Suedes

The chair on the right in first set is amazing. Can't you just see that in the Great Room of big house in Texas, lol? With a giant fireplace?
  8. Sticky: Re: Can I flip and rotate my leather seat cushions?

My dealer said H&M and sending me out something for the scratches. Thank you, I would not even have known that existed. I can't wait to see how well it does.
  9. Sticky: Re: Can I flip and rotate my leather seat cushions?

Wow, that is awesome, thanks! I didn't know it existed. The scratches are minor but over time I know they could add up. Gotta keep those kitty claws trimmed. They don't use it as a scratching post...

  11. Sticky: Re: Can I flip and rotate my leather seat cushions?

Lol, no you misunderstood. I HAVE a marker to match my kitchen cabinets, I WANT one for my H&M Sofa to match the leather so I can touch up small scratches. In Cavalier Mocha, please :)
  12. Sticky: Re: Can I flip and rotate my leather seat cushions?

I suspect that the vent issue is a real one, but that a flippable cushion is also possible but there is little incentive for manufacturers to try to do it for simple cost reasons. If the back of the...

Re: Please help, I have no idea where to start

Interesting. It does like you describe. I know sometimes the back and the interior joinery, how it is held together, and any nails or screws used can date a piece, so if you have more photos of that...
  14. Re: Hancock & Moore Overstock Cover Specials on Just in Time / Town and Country items

Since H&M is better quality, which you don't say you disagree with, I guess that makes it an even better deal that you can get that quality for LESS than Motion Craft. Was that your point? Or were...

Re: How to get pale wood for the table?

It looks like it could also be a bleached or white washed wood. You might ask your designer what they had in mind for it. I have an Ash blanket box at the end of my bed that is unstained and it is...

Re: Electric Cars and Charging at Home

Wow, that is ridiculous! A few years ago I had my electric service to the entire house upgraded with an additional box in the basement, 2 new boxes in the garage, and a generator switch installed and...

Where you go from here kind of depends on where you are in the purchase process. If you have accepted delivery, and paid in full, your options are more limited. If you refused delivery or refused to...

Sticky: Re: Hancock & Moore Cushions

I have the down in my City Sofa, and I have no problem with puddling after a year. Obviously I can't tell you what will happen after 5 or 10 years, but I rotate cushions every few months and any...

Those systems are getting more common. I have a similar one at home that requires you to press a number to be put through. Throws some people at first, but does a great job of weeding out the robo...

    Re: H & M Sofas

This actually sounds like a fairly easy fix if it is only in that spot. They make arm caps that you can buy separately to protect the arm. They are pricey but they match your sofa, they are removable...
