I have no idea. I deal with thousands of leathers that come and go every 6 months - between my suppliers I have there are currently 800 hides of or so - I can't even recall current leathers much...

For price paid, use them until the mechanism completely fails and then toss them is my advice. Those are very old and not worth putting money into.
