Default Help to identify this piece

Hello everyone. I'm new to antique furniture, and I have something. I'm just not sure what. I got it from a family friend and he told me it came from a local mining engineer's home and that it was from the teens. It's solid oak, 8ft long 42 inches high and 33inches deep. It has four locking drawers and the top is slightly inclined. I mostly just want to know what the correct name for this piece would be. Thanks in advance!

That’s a stand up desk. If solid oak it will be extremely heavy.

Thank you. And yes, it's too heavy for 2 people to lift.
