[QUOTE=drcollie;48025]Here is my current # 1 favorite. In fact, I am going to order once of these for myself once I finalize on a leather (likely to be Finery Linen, GR 5).

I know this is a detail, and I hope you don’t mind my asking— but what draws you to Finery? I’ve never seen it in person but read the description and it sounds like a powerhouse!

Forgive me if this is a duplicate…. I tried to post with a quote…. Technology is not my strong suit…. Anyway, I am always curious what YOU like, Duane, because I think your taste in leather is amazing. So I’m wondering what drew you to Finery. I have never seen it in person, but I read the description, and it sounds amazing. Matte finish? Wow!

Finery is a pull-up hide which is oil and wax pressure-infused. I like the hand on it and am a sucker for a top-shelf pull up hide. If you object to pressure marks or what the uninitiated refer to as “scratches” then a pull-up is not for you. Plus, the color works in our room at home. We recently installed hardwoods in our family room and need to cycle out some of the darker browns and introduce some lighter pieces into the room. The Sami Recliner in Finery Linen will replace the Westwood Recliner in this photo.

We do change some of our furniture out long before it wears out. About 10% of my customers do likewise, your home is your castle, so it’s fun to create some new looks.

Thanks! Same ottoman as was upstairs, but mine is about 8 years old. H&M 079 campaign ottoman in Tuscany Harness. Every day my Cairn Terrier and I do a 10 minute “Good Morning” ritual atop it, so that piece always has to stay!

Yes, on the cruise ship in San Juan Puerto Rico after walking around Old Town since Noon. It’s good to be warm!
