    None of those!

(I feel like I just pressed the "That was Easy" big button from Staples).

Duane...Austin High Back and City are key styles along the west coast...ever think about bringing them in? BTW...Does anyone know what the "NB" stands for on the Austin? NB = No Buttons...yes the Austin used to have a tufted back. I'm glad it no longer does.

I have a City Loveseat in the store, but not the sofa. I usually have an Austin as well, just not at this time. I tend to like to buy the expensive fancy sofas at market, and buy those for floor stock as the "Market Specials" are such tremendous deals (up to $ 1,000 off the regular price of the piece), and they never put the mainstream ones like Austin and City on the Market Specials. But I know what you're saying.....

    Duane,
Have you considered posting your current inventory on the forum?
    Thanks,

I agree with Julie about posting an inventory. It's a lot of work to set up the first time, but after that it really doesn't take much time to keep it up to date. My asst. manager set up the same kind of system in our Outlet Store (over my half-hearted approval) and it has worked out wonderfully. Even though you probably have every piece and fabric in your store memorized, putting that inventory on the internet could help some customers to focus on a starting place rather than trying to deal with the thousands of options you offer. Sometimes we furniture people can forget how confusing these products can be to the uninitiated.

I understand the paper work Ogre; however, a list of your inventory would be very valuable to anyone wanting to know if it is worth a trip to Alexandria--like me. You might have just the one we would buy on the spot! One of your special buys from the Show, perhaps?

Covers are of less importance than style/comfort/fit at this point. Leather samples are not too difficult to see or borrow. Mostly we would like to find a store with a good mix instead of just one or two styles.

    Please reconsider.

Won't happen anytime soon...maybe one day. I'm still trying to get my entire store bar-coded and that's taken 6 months so far. That's my priority right now. Sorry!
