    Default Peeling leather furniture

I purchased a leather couch, loveseat and recliner set. It sat covered in my new remodeled home for about 5 months before we started using it. Within 6 months the dark color began to peel like latex pain revealing the natural tan color underneath. The furniture store is willing to replace the cusion but it is now spreading to the back and arms at an alarming rate. I think they will replace the whole couch but what can I do to protect the rest.? I heard that I shouldn't need to condition within the first 6 month. Is this abnormal? What kind of product should I be using and how often? I have a small dog, will her nails cause problems?

    Help!

The leather is defective and the pieces are not repairable. This happens occasionally, mostly on inexpensive leathers from China. Its a defect in the tanning process and your best bet is contact your selling dealer and negotiate returning the pieces for a credit against another purchase. Sorry.
