    Default Poor Man Leather?

I'm looking for the best quality leather that isn't "high quality"...Anyone have an opinion...

I'm looking to spend around 1599-2100 for a couch and don't know which brands are safest.

    Please help!!!

Its not the leather cover that you have to be concerned about, its the interior build of the piece. In that price range you will find a lot of makers will 'cheap out' in the areas that you don't see, and won't show their poor build quality for several months after purchase. Interiors sag or over-compress, arms become loose, cushion cores lose their resiliency.

About as low build as I will comfortably recommend is Bradington - Young. Their pieces are reasonably priced, and have robust components which translates into longevity. If you say in their 'married cover' program on leather, you can buy a sofa like their model 401-95 0r 508-95 for $ 1,400 plus shipping and it will give you 20 years of service if you keep it reasonably clean.
