    Default H&M nailhead options

    Hello,

I read in an older post that Hancock & Moore decorative nails are solid brass, which is great to hear. I would like to go with a nail that is just plain brass, without any "antique" finishes, since I would rather just let the brass tarnish naturally on its own. It looks like the "I" nail might be a contender. Any thoughts? I am also wondering whether the brass is lacquered or un-lacquered.

    Thanks!
    Anthony

Brass in its natural state will look like the "L" nail. If you want a polished brass then go with the "I" nail. The polished brasses are lacquered, as no one would want to have to buff up all those trim nails.
