Default Need Help in Finding Fabric !

I have a sofa and chair about 25 years old that we love. It is torn and snaged and just needs replacing. But we love the fabric and the style of the sofa. We bought it from a company called Bean Station which is now out of business. So we would like to have it reupholstered but can not find the fabric. It is Herulone, which I think is now called Orafin. The repeat pattern is: Height, 20 1/2 inches by Width, 17 1/4 inches. It is a alot of light tan to chocolate brown and a little dark brown. It has a very small amount of a light orange line runing through it. It is very textured with very thick puffy and thin lines. Does anyone know where I can find this fabric !! I would even pay to have it reproduced but I don't know where to go to have that done.
    Thank! Violet

There are literally million of fabrics in circulation (I have nearly 4,000 on display at just my store), its going to be nearly impossible to track that one down. Add to that the massive changes in mill drops and textile companies going out of business and its probably no longer available. Very few fabrics (some in historic Williamsburg Collections perhaps) have a 25-year life span. You'll do just as well to go to your local upholstery guy and look through the ones he has to offer and select from those. Good luck.

Thanks for your help. I am disapointed. I was hoping some one would know where I could find something close. Do you not think it is possible to have it reproduced? I know it would cost alot but I have heard of it being done for period things. Do you know of where I would go to have something reproduced? I can't find anyplace on line. I'm in Kalamazoo Michigan.

It cost you thousands of dollars to have a small run made.
