Ok. I think what I am seeing is what you are speaking of. Doesn't seem too serious.

What kit would you recommend for an unprotected leather?

With Kipling leather which has a wax coating what will happen to the wax coating when using the Leather Magic cleaner, conditioner, UV protectant? Is there a danger of removing the wax when using the products?

Not a thing. That waxy coating is there for the life of the hide.

Duane, how much cleaner and conditioner do you apply to your burnished leathers? Do you put a lot of cleaner on a sponge and get it real foamy and apply liberally? Or do you just spray a very small amount on a damp cloth? How long do you let the cleaner sit on the leather? Do you rinse with anything after applying the cleaner? How much conditioner do you apply?

    Thanks

I just go over them with the cleaner and conditioner same as any other piece. Never saturate, more is not better. Just enough to get coverage is what you want. Like any cleaner, you have to have enough on the rag to remove the dirt and the conditioner - enough to get coverage. No rinsing.

A little trick with burnished leathers as well - if you ever get a 'scratch-like' mark in the hide take some Vaseline Intensive Care hand lotion and massage it into the area working it with your hands. It may take three or four applications, but the mark will disappear if you do. (this only works on burnished hides).
