Default How to Identify My Grandparents' Funiture

I have a serving table giving to me, that belonged to my grandparents. Can any one tell me about the piece? What kind of design is on the front? It looks like a "Ladden Genie lamp" to me. I couldn't find any information about it. I know my grandparents had this funiture sometime around 1940 or earlier.
I'm also interested in the dining room chairs. Is the chair a "windsor Court" chair? Im trying to learn more about the funiture. Thank you for your help.

Both are Victorian style, probably made in the late 1800's. Beyond that I can't tell you very much as that's not my area of expertise.

Are there any markings on either piece indicating who might have manufactured them?

I haven't checked them out for a couple of years, but eBay had (and probably still has) forums in which people can ask about their antiques. There's a lot of knowledge in that community.
