I waited until 9 a.m. this morning and breezed right in without any wait whatsoever. Fastest Presidential Election ever for me, I usually am in the going or coming to work crowd that snakes around the block. This time I decided to stay home as late as I could. (Fairfax County, Virginia)

One of the polling workers is friends with my daughter and she had to be there at 5:00 a.m. this morning. She told me that when they opened at 6 a.m., there was a 2-hour wait. So the mid-morning strategy of 9 a.m. seemed to pay off for me and everyone else who went in.

Virginia is going back to a scanned paper ballot now. The multi-million dollar touch screen machines are being cast aside (though still in limited use until they wear out). The Great Leap Backwards.....

Get out today and VOTE, no matter whom you cast your ballot for.
