Any thoughts on counter height dining tables?

It comes with two leaves.... I would have preferred one piece, as the size is what we need, but that wasn't an option...

If I had to guess, I'd say our finish was matte.. definitely not gloss...

I have noticed that in model homes and in staged homes that both counter height and regular height dining room tables are being used. I was looking at Family Leisure bar stools as I started my search for matching pieces. Does anyone think that maybe this new counter height is a trend or that people will revert back to regular height tables?

Just checked out the pictures for your table, looks very nice, who made it? I'll have to get some decent pictures of our table which is Canadel with six chairs and boat/bow shaped with similar legs but seems the Canadel is a bit chunkier which is one thing I'd change if I could.

Oh, I was just curious if you had selected a certain finish. I ended up opting for satin. There was a matte but it was so dull, and the gloss was too shiny.

Yea they are pretty similar legs/pedestal aside. Is yours one piece or leaf?

I thought about going with gloss but the opted for Matte because of the everyday use. I wish Canadel would have had an option of Satin finish in between like that.
