Pearson Chairs

Hello all. I'm new to the forum and have just come over from Gardenweb. So glad to find a place to get Duane's invaluable advice. Anyway, I have a question about the Pearson company. When looking for chairs for our family room my husband fell in love with the sit of a Pearson chair. I am not familiar with this company, except that it is owned by Lane , and wondered if you could enlighten me about the quality of their products.

I was a dealer for Pearson many, many years ago. Carried them back in the late 80's and early 90's. I dropped them as a line because I saw what I thought was a deterioration in the cost/value ratio. They became too expensive for what they were building. However, that was a long time ago, so I'm sure things have changed - I've not looked at them in many years. Perhaps Jeff or Steve can comment on the brand?

Thanks Duane. I must say they did seem a little expensive. Hopefully someone will have a little more recent experience with them
