Hi everyone,
I have been researching for a very long time on what leather motion recliner to purchase and I found this forum thanks to google. I look forward to all the information and all advice.
My husband and are looking to purchase a power or manual motion leather recliner sofa made in North America any advice would be appreciated. We live in Canada. We have looked at the Manufacturers of Palliser, El-Ran, Lazy Boy, Ambers, Lane. SO far we love Palliser. What are your opinions good or bad with Palliser? I really want to buy two sofas that are entirely made in North America and not from Asia? Our price range is around $2000 per sofa. Thanks for your time in reading my request.
Glad you enjoy the forum!
A motion sofa for $ 2K per is almost always going to be an imported one from Asia. The ones made domestically that are good quality will be half again as much, (or more $ 3K and up) Even in a stationary sofa, you'd be hard-pressed to hit that price point, sorry.
Paliser is mostly made in Mexico, with drop-in 8-way grids, which are much less costly than real hand-tied springs.
